Always a fun family trip. I live that my kids will randomly ask when we can go back, very affordable place to go. It's always relaxing, no lines anywhere. The building are really cool, and the kids always have fun.

We enjoyed the village. The people in the front ticket counter were a little rude about a program that the museum participates in. Museums for all is a great organization and there was even a sticker in the ticket booth window stating they were a MFA museum. The two employees working the desk said they had no idea what it was and have never heard of it before. I said, there is a sticker on your window, 1 foot away, saying you are a participating museum. I hope the village can train their employees on this program and people start being able to enjoy the village through this program! I felt a little embarrassed when he said, "you mean NARM?" I said, "no, Museums for All." I handed him my card and he said, "OHHHH, you mean the EBT program." I have never heard anyone call it that before. It is a national program that you are representing. You should probably be briefed on the name of it, especially when you are advertising being a member just 1 foot away.

We came for Homeschool Days, had a fantastic time. Joan led a water color class. She kept us entertained with fun facts about the village and did a great job showing the students how to see patterns and how to draw simple botanical examples. Blacksmiths, Tinmaker, Towne House poetry and tour, newborn lambs, and well presented history rounded out our amazing day!
