I visited Sturbridge Dental for removal of 4 wisdom teeth. The procedure was performed while I was awake with local anesthesia which I was very apprehensive about, but once the extractions actually began I was shocked to find that for the most part I truly could not feel pain. The only real sensation was what I perceived as pushing while my wisdom teeth were being extracted. There were a couple areas where I could still feel a little too much, but the dentist was able to stop and add more numbing agent before proceeding. I was also surprised at how quickly the procedure went. I think more time gets spent waiting for the numbing agent to kick in than actually having the extractions done, but overall everything took only about an hour and a half from the time I arrived. The pain really comes after the procedure is over. For pretty much the remainder of the day I felt pain akin to the worst that had been caused by the cavities I had in my wisdom teeth prior to their removal. It was bearable without pain medication, but barely. One recommendation I have is that anyone having wisdom teeth extracted should ask for post-procedure instructions on the off-chance they aren't given, and that any questions about the instructions should be asked prior to leaving. There is a good amount of information needs to be considered like when you can start brushing or eating again to prevent problems with the healing process.

Sturbridge Dental has the best dental team that I have experienced in my 60 years existence. The are gentle and take their time making sure you are comfortable. Painless, efficient , And very caring thank you Sturbridge dental team the team has changed Recently but I still experienced a very great team I will continue to stay with Sturbridge dental. Would recommend this place to anyone who wants to have a great dental experience.
