We just moved into a new home (quite an old home actually, but new to us). We turned on our steam/radiator heat for the first time, and hear loud knocking/banging in our system. As we are new to radiator heat, this felt a bit scary, and we knew we needed to bring in professionals. We contact Powderhouse Plumbing, and had a wonderful experience from first phone through service. The admin was very knowledgable, thoughtful and helpful and went out of her way to ensure, even though we were new customers, we were scheduled within a few days. An engineer quickly reached out, listened to the description, and was set to come the next day. We had fantastic help during our service appointment and they did the work/fixed the problem right on the spot. We also got an education, learning about how the system works, what was being fixed and why, and what to look out for in the future. Moving into a new home (and running into unforeseen problems) can be a stressful experience, and we feel really lucky to have found Powderhouse Plumbing and Heating to help fix the problem. They were honest, open, responsive and genuinely helpful. This will be our heating/plumbing company for our house as we continue to deal with the planned, and the inevitable unforeseen issues that will come our way.
