Robert Shen was my property manager for a year. When we arrived on move in day the inside was too dirty to even put our stuff down, we had taken work off and rented moving trucks so we had to move in that day. Robert was in a different state at the time. We were able to get cleaners last minute but we were only reimbursed for half of that cost. The basement was full of trash which we had to remove on our own (old broken furniture thrown down there by previous tenants). There was trash through the yard because the trash bins had rat holes and each night they would spread more trash across the yard. This was not address for at least 6 months. The dryer exhaust had a large hole causing the exhaust to empty into the home creating a fire hazard. This was not address for many months. There was a mice infestation the entire time we lived there that only got worst as time went on. When we moved in we found several dead mice in the basement on traps that were never checked after being placed. Our kitchen was covered in new mice dropping every day. Robert was personally unresponsive for months at a time. I made several calls to StartPoint informing them of his incompetence and never received a response.
