Saint Vincent Medical Group: Sterling

St. Vincent Medical Group in Sterling is a beautiful, state of the art practice. Easily accessible, very spacious, clean and with ample parking. Highly recommend if looking for primary care or cardiology.

I'll start with the positive. Dr. Corpuz is clearly extremely overworked with an unmanageable caseload but still tries to take his time with patients, is thorough, funny, personable, knowledgeable, helpful, and trying his best to provide great care with the resources he has to work with. It all goes downhill from there. You can't call into the place because no one will answer the phone, wait times are over an hour for a routine appointment very unacceptable, it's almost impossible to get in touch with anyone without walking into the office and forcing them to deal with you. Everyone's friendly enough but you can tell this place needs its entire management team fired and start from the bottom up. Awful, can't believe they can compete in a free market

Cant ever get thru to anyone on the phone ever. Cant ever can an appointment in a timely manner. I keep calling and no one answers. This is a constant thing for YEARS. Been calling since 11:30am today its now almost 12 which means their answering service will get my call and no one will call me back if I leave a message with them..

chose them as my pcp when i was living in Sterling, but then I moved to Worcester but still was willing to make the drive to sterling to see them. I was a new patient, and i made an appointment in September 2022 to be seen in April 2023. The day before my appointment, I receive a call from them stating that they have not received my medical records yet and they would cancel my appointment (my medical records were sent months ago at this rate). Of course, I was panicking because my last place stopped my prescriptions since I was no longer a patient there and I would have my appointment before they run out. I called them back and spoke to a really rude woman who told me that my old dr's office should still be responsible for my prescriptions until they received my medical records (which they should have) so she said she couldn't get me in until July at that rate for a new patient appointment. So I called my old dr's office and they told me they should've received the forms in Feb and gave me the name of the person who signed off on them. I call them again saying they should have it and put me back on for my appointment. My appointment itself was also kind of weird. I went and saw Dr. Dhruva and I felt like she was very dismissive and judgmental. They clearly didn't look at my medical history before my appointment, and told me I was due for a tetanus shot. I told them I should've received that shot in 2020. They told me I didn't and still gave it to me anyways. I looked back on my medical records later that night to find out that I did, in fact, receive the tetanus shot back in 2020 and they gave me a second one three years later. I'm now in the process of finding a new pcp because this place is so difficult to deal with and I want someone who's not gonna be rude or judgmental towards me, an overly stressed out 24 year old. It's really sad that almost all the reviews I've read on this have been similar to mine.

Possibly the worst medical group in the world. Yes they forget about vaccines have already given you theyll give you a medication thats for bipolar people when youre not bipolar and then they wont even schedule a second appointment to make sure those meds arent affecting you the wrong way and their staff up front are the rudest people Ive ever met relationship. If I was you, I would turn and run as fast as possible instead of going in that medical facility. Not to mention theyll cancel your much-needed physical when they have a meeting and then they wont schedule it again for six months down the road even though it was their fault. Yeah theyre pretty bad there I would not. I repeat I would not join them, especially if you care about your health, and well-being!
