The Urban Food Brood

I went to Urban Food Brood for the first time last week and I can not recommend it enough. I had a refreshing cup of coffee and delicious sandwich. There are different vendors here so you have veriety to choose from. There are communal tables or a few smaller tables to sit at. Good parking too at the parking lot. I plan on returning regularly and I hope others do too so that this place stays open for good! I am so happy that Springfield has a place like this!

Its difficult for me to be impressed by a food business. I have been related to all parts of the retail food business since I was five years old. I have washed dishes and I have been General Manager. When a business executes its main offering perfectly, I feel that I must share it with others. Im a coffee aficionado, and I take my first cup of the day very seriously. I finally found a place that takes coffee as seriously as I do. For the serious coffee drinker, the Expresso is the ultimate experience, but the Cortado (three shots and just a little bit of steamed milk) it's our Everest if you can take it. The Urban Brood had elevated coffee-making to the highest level of execution in the area. I drank my first cup and for three weeks I was craving another. Its addictive! Kudos to the best coffee in the area.

A much needed source of quality food in the area. Snacks, breakfast and lunch by local sources are needed and the proprietors are friendly and knowledgeable!

Love this place! Rad vibe and great people. Theres always something exciting going on, be it a pop up of a local artist, interesting food, displays, etc. plus, they like my dog. Its awesome to have so many great businesses (and people!) under one roof. I can pop in for coffee and grab something for lunch or dinner, or snag something tasty from the case. Its the kind of place that actually WANTS you to come in and hang out, which is hard to find these days. we needed a place like this, a community hub.
