        Tough to drive to. A surprising amount of people don't know about it. Clean. No litter which was appreciated.

        Good trailhead. Pretty limited parking but the signage is nice Parking: Pretty small lot for maybe 3 cars. Theres also a small lot across the road for another 3 cars, and then one 100ft south that could fit 7-8 cars. Limited parking but doable Fees: None Restrooms: None

        It's a strenuous hike from the trailhead to the tri-point marker and back. The scrambles up Round Mountain and Mount Frissell are steep. After heavy rains, the 1/4 mile of the trail right at the trailhead turns into a stream, so wear waterproof footwear. Still, it's rewarding. The views from Round Mountain in particular are spectacular. Just make sure you're in shape for this deceptively short hike, whichever way you go.

        Great trail with elevation gain up rough mountain and mt frissell very rocky but well worth the view at the top by the high point marker
