Modern Dentistry of Shrewsbury

All the perfectly worded positive reviews here dont seem legit. I felt like I was surrounded by used car salesmen. There also does not appear to be anything modern about this place. They seem to be using the same old tools they were using back in 1984, that were just as painful. I went in for a cleaning and left with nothing because they insisted I needed a million other things. They refused to do a cleaning, because I needed a scaling, which as it turns out is more expensive time consuming and painful. It was extremely off putting, the way they seem to be looking for ways to charge more and do more work before I even sat down. No thanks. Ill go somewhere a little more honest.

I can NOT say enough about this place! They are AMAZING!!!!! I needed a root canal and just happened to call them and they fit me in. I am not even a current patient (but I will be now). Let me say, I am SO petrified of having any work done and have never had a root canal before. Everyone in the office was super sweet to me and Dr. Wei and her assistant Stella were unbelievably kind, very caring and really made me feel comfortable. I did not feel any pain or discomfort the entire time. I would highly recommend them to anyone!

I love going to Modern Dentistry of Shrewsbury. All of my visits there have been so joyful. Dr.Mehdi is an awesome dentist and his staff is amazing. From the front desk to his clinical staff they have always made me feel very comfortable with my treatments. I would highly recommend this office.

Modern Dentistry is the best dental practice. I have anxiety just thinking about going to the dentist, and Dr. Mehdi and his entire staff have always done everything right in making me feel more comfortable and at ease. Every hygienist there is really good! I have had several crowns done (that came out great) over the years by Dr. Mehdi. Last week I had a cracked tooth removed and a bone graph in preparation for an implant with Dr. Buscani, the office periodontist. He was great and also has a wonderful manner, like Dr. Mehdi, that put me at ease. I have seen Dr. Wei, (Endodentist) for advice on my cracked tooth and she gave me all my options and helped me to choose what's best for me. Dr. Mehdi came in when it wasn't even a scheduled appointment with him and he spoke to me at length about my implant to reassure me. It is so easy to go to one office and be able to have everything done on site; cleanings, crowns, extraction, X-rays, 3D X-rays, and dental scans needed to make me a night guard and flipper tooth. Dr. Mehdi takes time with me each visit to make sure I'm ok. That is a huge plus in my book! The front office staff has been more than accommodating in assisting me with any questions about insurance, payments, and appointments. They are very positive and pleasant. I would give ten stars if it was an option!
