        I moved at Stony Brooks recently and my experience has been amazing. My grandsons and I are very pleased and very happy living in this community. My neighbor is very friendly. The maintenance men are very kind. Aimara who works in the office is awesome. The community is very clean and quiet. I love it!

        So I put the application in for a unit as well as the $500 deposit to hold the unit, I was denied but they still took the $500. They have since then not answered any of my calls let alone return my call, Ive left plenty of voicemails they know its me and they are being negligent. Im not even a tenant and I get this behavior, I can only imagine what being a tenant there is like. This is disgusting behavior.

        Staff has no respect for the privacy of residents they show up with out notice for inspections. And you are expected to comply.

      Upon applying for an apartment on line, our application states that it will be up to seven days before the deposit is returned to the applicant. You should receive your deposit back within this timeframe. We welcome you to reapply in the future.

      Stony Brook Commons provides 24 hours notice to residents if the staff will be entering apartments for inspections. Unfortunately the inspection this past week was the city inspector in regards to an electrical project and the staff was not given prior notice. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.
