avid hotel Boston Logan Airport - Revere, an IHG Hotel

AVID Hotel Boston Was great price service, Shuttle Rides as needed with 24 hrs notice . 24 hr Coffee or Tea or vlavored sparking water . Also internet we also had booked the hottel 5 to 6 months lost the convirmation # they found it no problem a few days before are trip nice clean quiet and pet Friendly we did not bring my licence servive dog but others had dogs .

I came in late March 25 after traveling all day. I stood at the end of the line and when it was my turn this Asian guy that wanted more wine thought it was okay to jump in front of me. The clerk just let him without saying hey she was here first. I would of been cool if either of them would have had the common courtesy to say do you mind, this will be quick. Neither one of them said a thing. Then the clerk didn't even greet me, but hurried through my reservation and handed me key without any apology. I'm a Navy Veteran and I travel ALOT. This is the first IHG property that I've experienced rudeness. All the others the clerks were so personable. The clerk seems to be about 20 years my junior(41) and maybe he doesn't care or even have customer service skills. I don't expect 5 star treatment from a 2 star hotel, but a little common courtesy goes a long way. I'll be in Boston often, I'll just choose another IHG property. The room also had boogers on the wall and a little mold and hair in the bathroom. Thankfully otherwise clean and no evidence of bed bugs. Room is also a bit loud due to being on a busy street.
