James did an excellent job refinishing our first floor wood floors. He held true to his initial quote and helped us select the flooring color by sending lots of pictures of prior jobs. He and his team was efficient and tidy. We would highly recommend!

James and his team did a great job on my floors. I am thrilled with the results and the overall process, especially since his prices are extremely reasonable. James promptly responds to messages and always encourages asking questions. He took a look at my floors and pointed out some faulty details that I did not even notice. He listened to my concerns and followed through. James was able to devise a plan and give me an estimate for the job on the spot. The work was done very efficiently, quickly and neatly. I would recommend James and would use his services again in the future if needed.

John and his crew did an amazing job for us. He installed 800 square feet of white oak in 4 bedrooms to match the adjacent hallway wood floors. He installed the wood tight to the baseboard with no gaps. He even aligned the wood strips to match the hallway strips at each room. The quality of the sanding was very high as there are no bumps, dips or waves. We were out of the house during the project and John sent progress pictures every day and kept us informed of progress. John sanded and finished the hallway to match the new floors perfectly even though they were installed 10 years ago ( and he sanded out the bumps the previous flooring company didnt sand out.) John started the day we agreed to and finished exactly when he said he would. You will absolutely be pleased if you hire Apex Hardwood Floors, they deliver excellence with great customer service. James and his team did a fantastic job refinishing our hardwood floors! He repaired multiple areas of damage from the previous owners and made it look like new. We could not be more pleased. We got quotes from 4 other flooring companies. Several told us we needed to replace the entire floor. Others offered to repair it but were much more expensive. James was honest with us from the get go and was confident he could do the repairs for a very reasonable price. He was very communicative and sent us photos and videos throughout the entire process. He really went above and beyond. I would not hesitate to hire James again in the future and have already recommended him to friends. (Photos include before with spot damage and after. Note that after photos are a bit more shiny due to being taken right after James finished. We also chose oil base with semi gloss finish)
