Ive been going to this local store for years , its family owned & operated . They carry a wide range of Wine & Beers . If you have a favorite bottle they will order & get in stock . Wonderful kind people , also carry a great selection of Irish candy & chips.

I never had a problem here until tonight. I went in to purchase lottery and a snack. Two young men were behind the counter. There was a woman at the counter. I grabbed a snack and waited. A man got in line behind me and we both waited. The second man behind the counter stepped up, looked at me, than at the other customer which was a White man. I went to take a step forward, but he motioned no and beckoned the other customer to step up, the man looked at me and shamefully said its because Im playing the lottery. So was I was my response. I put the chips back and left the store upset and hurt. Why are people like this? This is still happening. Im a Black woman still being treated as if Im indivisible in 2022. I decided that the clerks behavior was unacceptable. I got my pizza from next door and went back inside. The same customer was still in the store. I told the clerk that I had been there to purchase lottery as well, and that I was next in line. The clerk said he didnt know that. I said you never asked. At this point, the man who had been given the privilege to skip the line felt the need to confront me. I told him that the issue wasnt about him or his privilege. I left the store, and I will not go back. EVER!! I control where my dollars are spent, and they wont be spent in establishments with this level of blatant disrespect and racism.
