Governor Bradford Restaurant

Great place for food, drinks and atmosphere. We sat at the bar and watched a couple of basketball games while having many local beers and eating the food. Everything was delicious and the staff was very attentive. Highly recommend this local establishment in Provincetown

When new owners take over an established restaurant, straddling the line of infusing newness and updates while preserving the legacy is NOT easy. Governor Bradford is a legend, known for being a dive bar with evening drag karaoke and low quality drinks and food. The new owners have made several tasteful updates in the main areas and bathrooms while preserving several iconic features, such as the pool table. The result is a great, hip vibe that is relaxing, inviting, and yes, just a tad "divey," since this really is a part the legacy. The food is AMAZING. Their current menu of Asian fusion food is next to none. The cocktails are 10/10. Just go before the rest of the world discovers the perfection that is the new Governor Bradford.
