We stayed in the elevation suite, which has beautiful ocean views and is large, comfortable, and very private. The amenities and service at 3 Waves are outstanding, and the hosts friendly and welcoming. You really cant do any better than this. Food & drinks: Excellent coffee and delicious breakfast!

I happened upon 3 Waves B&B by fortuitous chance after looking at other options in the area. I had a question about our stay, so my first personal contact with Julie was via a phone conversation. She was friendly, warm and informative during our call. I knew immediately I'd made the right choice! Shawn was there to greet us and show us around their lovely home. Renewal may be one of the smaller Queen rooms, but we did not feel cramped at all. It had lovely antique furnishings, coupled with 21st century technologies that Julie and Shawn utilize for their guest's comfort. The split unit heating and cooling, along with the ChiliSleep temperature-controlled mattress pad made it so that my husband and I both felt comfortable in the room and in our bed for a restful night's sleep. That's a big plus for 2 people who have different ideas of what the perfect temperature is for sleeping. Haha! The Stress Chocolates left on our bureau were not only delicious, but I did feel they helped ease me into a 7-hour slumber, which I really appreciated, since I typically have a hard time getting a full night's rest. We walked into town after dropping off our bags. There was a sidewalk that carried us along the almost 2-mile route. I'd only suggest this for hardy walkers, such as we are. We logged 7 miles in total, so we were so glad to have the spa amenities to ease our sore bodies. The massage chairs, float bed and light therapy worked wonders! Next time, we'll try the Virtual Reality chairs! (Yes, we already know there will be a next time!) We visited the nearby Plimoth Patuxet Museum and the Mayflower II on Day 2. The docents at both locations were fabulous! I hadn't been to either since I was a child, and appreciated it so much more as an adult, understanding the complex history more clearly now. We ate at The Artisan Pig (outstanding pizza!!), the East Bay Grille and sat at the bar at Su Casa to listen to a local musician while enjoying cocktails & appetizers. There are more restaurant choices in Plymouth than you will ever need, so you're sure to find a cuisine you like there! The breakfasts at 3 Waves were substantial and started with a table full of delicious fresh berries, yogurt and homemade granola. I make my own granola at home, so really appreciate the effort that goes into making something so yummy. This was just the type of breakfast Andre loves to get him started each day. But Julie and Shawn also offer a hot breakfast, too! The first day, healthful waffles were accompanied by perfectly cooked bacon (as Shawn said to us...the bacon was for the soul while the waffles were for the body. LOL). There were two other couples staying at 3 Waves and we had a nice conversation as we all ate at the community dining table. That's what I like about B&B's---the chance to meet other people and learn where they are from and maybe get some travel ideas about their hometowns. Mostly, though, we choose to stay in B&B's because of the welcoming feeling that we hope they'll provide as opposed to anonymous hotel experiences where you sometimes feel invisible to the staff. Since the other guests had checked out before breakfast on our 2nd morning, Julie offered us an omelet of our choice. We asked for a spinach, feta and onion one, and it was so satisfying. I didn't tell Julie until after we ate that I'm a chef, as it usually intimidates people, and makes them not want to cook for me, but she had nothing to worry about. Chef's kiss here for that omelet. :-) Julie and Shawn have definitely created a haven-away-from-home that makes you feel you are visiting with friends and are not just 'another guest.' That is what true hospitality means to us. While we are planning to do a lot more traveling locally, nationally and abroad now that we are easing into retirement, we will definitely be back to revisit 3 Waves B&B again when we want to restore our minds and bodies to a sense of calm that they specialize in providing. Bravo, J&S! Thanks so much for taking such good care of us while we were with you for a few days!

The Innkeepers were welcoming and they engaged and interacted with all the guests with warmth and friendliness. The back yard deck and yard enhanced our experience there. The wellness room experiences contributed to our relaxing retreat.

Booked for only two nights...really wish we had stayed two weeks! Superb in every way. Shaun and Julie are the two friendliest and most interesting hosts we've ever had the pleasure to meet. Their inn is beautiful, warm and inviting. Breakfasts are not the usual token slivers of quiche and store-bought muffins. Julie's breakfasts are home made, complete meals that really fuel you up for the day. Plymouth is a wonderful little town with lots to see and lots of great seafood to eat. Very highly recommend "3 Waves" to anyone looking for a terrific value and a wonderful, restful stay.

We stayed at 3 Waves for two nights. What a wonderful experience! Julie and Shawn were such nice hosts. Breakfasts were delicious (don't miss the homemade granola). Our room, along with the rest of 3 Waves, was exceptionally clean. I had a couple of hours in the afternoon to take advantage of the wellness spa, and the float bed and massage chairs were fabulous. I highly recommend 3 Waves and hope to be back.
