Best breakfast sandwiches in the area!

Since this review was written 6 months ago the business has been sold. The last time I was in it had just recently been taken over and the vibe inside was different. The dishes could not be kept up with so were piled just on the other side of the counter to eat at/look at. I had an omelet which was simple/good. I'll be going back because the breakfast food is predictable and inexpensive/unpretentious and the location on Elm Street has a 20 - 30 yr or more back-in-the-day feel - character or a place makes up for the simple/cheap food. The last time I was in I enjoyed a short conversation with the senior sitting next to me about how the previous owner Joanne was enjoying her retirement. A place with no sit-down but high-quality organic food is further down on Elm St. - Berkshire Mountain Bakery - they don't open till 10 AM though. So, if I'm in the area way before 10 and want to sit down, read the paper, and eat a few eggs someone else cooked, I'll go to this Luncheonette. Kid-friendliness: Lots of pics of kids on walls - was the case when it was Joanne's Kitchenette 6 months ago. It got a fresh coat of paint when the owner moved in.

Great food ,good atmosphere. Staff very helpful .this place is shelly's lunch now .And she has knocked it out of the park .you feel like your sitting at your own kitchen table thats how comfortable the staff and shelly make you feel .best breakfast in the berkshires. Ty Kid-friendliness: Highchairs ,coloring books ,stickers and more .

Comfort food, customer friendly. Recent change in ownership, quickly adapting. As the old commercial goes, "Try it, you'll like it". Parking: Parking on Elm Street
