The other reviewer giving this dump one star is absolutely correct. Their administrators are incompetent, there is unaddressed abuse, their internal investigations are biased towards the staff, and many more horrid things. This place is a train wreck

This organization is what could he considered a holding place for young individual who desperately need support. They do not receive the services promised and are privileged to receive the bare minimum services as the company is focused more on funding than support. States pay upwards of $250,000 per student The organization promises a robust curriculum that is guaranteed to help students grow. Students who very much need a focus on mental health are neglected as the clinical department is a very small component in these youths lives. While the organization claims to use DBT, TCI, and CPS as their core supports, the staff are given superficial training on TCI and little to no training on DBT or CPS. Students are also intended to receive fire safety training and substance use supports, which they do not receive as there is, at the time of my employment, no curriculum for substance supports and an very outdated fire Stacey booklet. Upon requesting these curriculum and training on this, I was told by my supervisor I will look into it, its probably somewhere in the Google drive. (I wont Even discuss the databases used or technology as it is severely neglected and far behind, an organization stuck at the introduction to technological advancement). She never got back to me. Upon questioning the curriculum and training in team meeting my supervisor would respond with irritation and noticeable stress. Those supporting groups are not provided training on the curriculum in any regard. Bringing concerns to my supervisor was met with superficial address at best. When a colleague began antagonizing me and harassing me because of my rejection of their offer to date, I was considered the problem and my supervisor refused to make any changes because she and this colleague were Close friends. My time at Hillcrest was highly stressful at the very least. My depression and anxiety sky rocketed as I struggled to understand my role, with absolutely no clarity from my supervisor. Hillcrest does not support adolescents in their growth and development nor does is support its teams. They sprinkle money over their problems as they hope that keeps staff in the door. There is a lot to improve on and little success.

My child benefitted greatly from being at Hillcrest and learned skills that she used as a child right through adulthood. I'm a parent and I was greeted by kind and caring staff who were sensitive to my concerns. I am very grateful to Hillcrest for the help they provided to my child. My child looks back at Hillcrest with fond memories. Thank You
