Called them for an estimate and, despite their website saying that they service Buffalo, was told flat out that they "dont work in Buffalo" - Bait and Switch false advertising.

He was very knowledgeable and can tell he’s very experienced at installing gutters. I was able to schedule the gutter for my garage quickly and it looks and works great. The pricing was competitive and a great value for the work done.

I am furious at this whole experience. I was pressured and strong-armed and am left with a botched job that I will now have to pay to have redone. It started with Bob coming out to my house for an estimate; he called me outside and told me that the downspout would have to be moved from the driveway side of the house to the front because of the pitch. I wasn't aware of any pitch issue, but I was glad and said "I meant to mention that I wanted that moved because the drain tile can't be used since new town regulations insist on a bubbler system." He emailed me an estimate that was comprised of just a few summary lines of the job and a total cost. I called him with a few questions and went on to get other estimates. Two months later, I receive a phone call from Bob at 7:30 in the morning, saying he can start the job today and that his dad would be arriving in an hour. Caught off-guard, I told him that it wasn't a good day as I had a plumber scheduled. Instead of just trying to reschedule, he said it wouldn't interfere with a plumber and it would be fine. I tried to then explain I wasn't ready to make a decision and I was still getting estimates. He told me to call the plumber and call him back when he confirms that it wouldn't be an issue. I got ready for my day and waited for the plumber to arrive. An hour later, I heard a noise coming from my roof. I went outside and to my amazement, someone was on my roof and had already begun mounting gutters! Upset, I went outside and told him that I never authorized this work and I have a plumber arriving who would need the driveway. Instead of apologizing, he said "Ma'am, I just drove an hour to get here to do your work". WHAT?!? I didn't even WANT him to do the work. He was half-way done with the job. When the plumber arrived, he said this is what scumbags do, they strong-arm people into signing contracts just to get jobs. When he said he finished the gutters, I went outside and a downspout was installed that would empty right onto the driveway next to the front step. When I said I didn't want that, he got irate with me and said there was no other way to do it. That's not true, at the estimate, he said he would put a downspout on the front of the house that would empty onto the lawn. Now I will have to pay someone to redo this work because each winter, the water coming down the downspout will create ice on my front walkway. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to know that water turns to ice, ice is slippery, and if you walk on ice you may fall. He put a downspout that POURS water onto a walkway! It's a WALKWAY, people WALK on it. Don't use this company (ever!), get someone else that has common sense!
UPDATE IN RESPONSE TO OWNER:
I did not receive any sort of diagram of my project ahead of time, even if I had, the drain tile was concreted over and is unable to be used. A professional who does this for a living should have seen and understood this, even if he was unaware of the town regulations of the bubbler systems. Yes, to be fair, Robert did offer to extend the existing downspout to "the grassy area". Where is this "grassy area" though? Did he mean across the entire width of my driveway to the grass there, or across the entire width of my sidewalk? I'm still trying to decide which is less dangerous.
