This place treats patients like a product on an assembly line passing you from person to person at different stations. It was a very efficient, but unpleasant experience. update: as much as I stilk dislike their setup and having multi-staged waiting rooms, the quality of care I received was good and the doctors were great.

I hurt my eye the night before and as a result of the pain I called to see if they could do an emergency visit this morning. The lady on the phone was very polite and told me to go see them right away. When there I was quickly greeted with a smile by miss Best at the front desk. She was very professional and dealt with a very positive attitude toward me and my attitude since I was nervous and in pain. She is definitely good at her job and I wish more people understood when someone is in pain they are not themselves! I then saw the assistants and then waited for the doctor. Again I was in a-lot of pain and nervous. Dr.Rodman was amazing! I felt like he took the time to listen and understand what my problems were and quickly came up with a plan of care. While examining my eye he was super gentle and that made me feel more at ease and less nervous. He explained everything he was doing. I did not feel rushed during my Visit and feel like I received a great level of quality care. I was checked out by Miss Best and she was again very friendly and scheduled my f/u visit. I would recommend this office to anyone who would ask. I have came here for years now and the staff has always been good but especially today when I needed it most Miss Best and DR Rodman stood out due to their professionalism, knowledge, effectiveness and kindness. Thank you guys! You made my day a lot better. (Btw since my eye hurts still Im dictating this so if there are any typos its all on Siri!)

Went for regular eye exam. Waited 40 min, then Nurse did prelim stuff. Moved to different waiting area and finally left after another 45 minutes. Had to pick up daughter. Never saw doctor after an hour and 50 minutes. Over a month for another appointment. Regular eye exam should not take 2+ hrs. Only reviewed because they asked me too!

Im so grateful for Laura E . Who is an employee at Microsurgical Eye Consultants in Peabody. She saw my need for getting the treatment I needed and pushed for me. We need more people like you in this world. Its so amazing to know that there are still great people in the world that work thoroughly in full heartedly to consistently keep people like me able to function and see every day. Thank you, Laura for your help today. I would refer Microsurgical eye consultants to anyone in my family. Thank you again.

Same as someone else below. They tell you one thing over the phone when making an appointment and then bill you for something else after. Can't speak to billing either as you only get voicemail. Beware with this place
