Quite possibly the best plant shop Ive ever been to. Sometimes purchasing plants can feel overwhelming but Heidi took the time to look at pictures of my rooms and recommend the plants best suited for the area but I never felt like I was being pushed to purchase certain plants. Offered a wide variety of types and sizes and a fantastic addition to the community.

This plant shop has something for everybody. High end gorgeous large format plants to medium & smaller affordable beauties. And sometimes a tlc corner. It's a shop of people who love plants and who love to share their love of plants! I go there to only look and always come home with one, or 2 or 3 beauties to add to my collection! Today was a three unique snake plant addition day! Staff are incredibly helpful and friendly!

Such a wonderful space! All three women were friendly and had great energy; I bought some bamboo plants and absolutely will be back. Please support this local business!

I am leaving a raving review for the staff - "Q" (Store Owner), Tinaiya (Store Manager) and Nyla (Apprentice) at Emerald City Plant Shop. I came to the shop to have 5 plants repotted. First, I am super excited that this service is offered at the shop. Im your average plant owner. I dont have a green thumb but Im committed to learning how to maintain my indoor plants. I have a small collection of plants including two Ive purchased from Emerald City this year. "Q", Tinaiya and Nyla were very knowledgeable, personable and friendly. All three women provided exceptional customer service. The shop is well-stocked with beautiful plants at every price point. I purchased a beautiful mustard colored ceramic pot. I walked away with several tips on how to keep my indoor plants thriving and healthy throughout the winter months. I learned that a couple of my plants had to be repotted in the spring and the reasons why. I also learned about the importance of not over watering your plants and purchased the plant soil tester which has been a game changer. I even found out the name of a plant that was given to me which needed to be repotted and split into two pots. Although the store was busy, they gracefully attended to all their customers' needs. They even helped my daughter bring all the plants back to the car. And offered their assistance to wheelchair me back to my vehicle. I left in awe of these three beautiful black women. I highly recommend visiting New England's first Black owned plant shop, Emerald City Plant Shop!!
