Quick to Respond, Some Delays in Follow-Up
Recently, I encountered water damage in my home and needed professional help quickly. Service Master by Gilmore was able to attend to our emergency by the next day at 3 PM, a response time that was both impressive and much needed.
The team efficiently set up fans to begin drying out the affected areas, taking action that was both necessary and appreciated. Additionally, the project manager assigned to me was attentive and responsive, always taking my calls, which brought a degree of comfort during a turbulent time.
However, I did encounter some challenges with the administrative side of the service. Obtaining an invoice was a slower process than I anticipated. I understand that these things take time, but as I've communicated to the team, the speed of this process is crucial for insurance purposes and for the continuation of repairs.
My hope is that this feedback might help streamline their process in the future.
Initially, there was also a slight miscommunication regarding the timeline for the reconstruction phase, which was later adjusted to a three-week wait.
I would like to emphasize that during this trying period, especially while caring for a young child, prompt and efficient service is incredibly important to me. I am looking forward to this matter being resolved soon so that we can start getting back to normal.
To wrap up, Service Master by Gilmore showed commendable promptness in their initial emergency response, and I am grateful for that. I feel there are areas for improvement, particularly in administrative efficiency and communication, which I trust they will work on. Their hands-on service was a strong point, and with some enhancements in follow-up procedures, I believe they could offer a thoroughly reliable service from start to finish.

I cannot say enough about SVM by Gilmore. The came to the rescue Fourth of July when my basement had back up water from the city sewer. They were timely, respectful, communicative and most importantly they were a piece of mind during a very tough time. Manny and Pedro along with their crews worked hard to ensure the basement was sanitized and quickly set up machines to dry the area fast. The girls in the office were amazing to work with as well as the project manager. I am so very thankful for their quick response and attention to detail!!

I highly recommend ServiceMaster By Gilmore to everyone! The entire company has been extremely wonderful to work with at the very worst time after having a nightmare of a flood in my finished basement. From the moment they arrived I knew the nightmare was finally over, they took such amazing care of us! I cant say enough great things about them and couldnt recommend them more! Thank you SO much ServiceMaster By Gilmore for everything!!

We went with ServiceMaster by Gilmore b/c they were a listed company with our insurance. Therefore, the work was supposed to be done quicker b/c they have a relationship with the insurance provider. The mold removal was professional and easy. The rebuild of our ceiling was a nightmare. The contractor/manager for the job was difficult to get ahold of and communication was poor. Our room was not properly protected as outlined in the contract, it took over a week to get an estimate (and they didn't even come to our house but used photos) and then we were told it would take two more weeks before a date could be set. Someone was ready to come in to do the rebuild over 1 month after the mold removal. I don't recommend this company for rebuilding. Mold removal is fine.
