        A new nursery run by two women in Norwell, Blue Stem offers native plants. Purchased a buttonbush and Great Blue Lobelia a few years ago. Both are hardy and doing well. They also sell signs so people know why you seem to have weeds growing in your garden (milkweed and butterfly weed here).

        I have shopped at Blue Stem multiple times and it is one is the best customer service experiences Ive had for a garden nursery. Accessible, knowledgeable, and engaging staff. Even better, the plants Ive purchased have all done well - very healthy plants that are helping me increase the variety of true local natives in my garden. Highly recommend.
