Was working with NESB on a development project for just under 1 year. Spent hundreds of thousands of dollars on legal work, architects, engineers, attorneys, zoning applications, permits, etc. to prove the projects concept and feasability. Appraisal value returned at very high, nice number, and we were cruising into a closing. "Were still on track and looking good" I was told a few weeks ago. A couple days before the closing the bank told me "the deal is dead", and that "you (I) should have seen the writing on the wall." One of the most troubling and skiddish experiences i have ever seen in my life. I will never forget how this unfolded, and I don't wish it on any one of you reading this. I will make it work, and it will be a tremendous project + accomplishment for the State of Rhode Island, and help contribute to the availability crisis we are suffering from. Best of luck to NESB in their future 'development' project 'deals'.

Giving this branch 2 stars because of the poor customer service I just received. I went in today around 3:45 to make a withdrawal and with it being cold and in December I had the top of my head covered. The woman behind the teller line yelled at me and continued to use an unacceptable tone stating the cameras couldnt identify me all while the person in front of me had a face mask on. Its no way to treat customers and Im surprised its tolerated.
