I recently had my Persian rug cleaned at Servicemaster in Fairhaven, MA. I was extremely pleased with the outcome as it was a used rug purchased through Craigslist. It looks like it's brand new. Their crew also cleaned my wood floor prior to rug placement. The floor was marred due to a foam type mat under my old rug. They were able to remove the residue that was adhered to the floor, again, very pleased! I highly recommend their prompt, professional service.

I had my house cleaned, I have 6 bedrooms, a living room, dining, two long hallways and a family room. The carpets are about 15 years old, in good shape but alot of wear and this year iwth the pollen, the blue rugs were green. I called Dave Bermingham from Servicemaster. Very nice guy. The next day a rep. from Service master came to my house measured, told me how much and we scheduled teh job. On the day of the job, they arrived on time, very well dressed, the technician was so polite and so professioanl. If he is a true representative of the Service Master company I cant imagine anyone wanting to have thier rugs cleaned by anyother company. He was there about two hours, finished the job, showed me everything he did, showed me all the stains he got out, what a very very nice man. The price was exactly what they had quoted me, very reasonable compared ot the 3 other companies I called. I received a follow up the next day checking to make sure I was happy, which I was. I have to say, this was a really really good experience, I would absolutely recomend Dave and Service MAster to all my friends and to you.

run don't walk away from this company. They cleaned our oriental rug and ruined it. Then when I asked the owner Richard O'Rouke to come back and look at it, he was extremely disrespectful. I got in touch withe corporate office and they were no help. They said O'Rouke would reimburse me if I got a licensed inspector to look at the rug. I did. It cost me $210. Turns out it's not permanently damaged. He advised me to go to a professional rug shop and have the rug cleaned again to get all the detergent out of it. Service Master didn't clean it properly. He told me not to have them do it again as they are not trained to clean oriental rugs. Turns out O'rouke won't pay for the inspection or to have the rug properly cleaned and the corporate office says they have no control over franchisees. I wouldn't trust as company that licenses their name but won't stand behind their service. Give service master an F and don't use them. I have all the documentation. Happy to to share.
