Avant Gardens is a wonderful place. It's a trek from Boston but so worth it! I have many specimens from this nursery, as well as gorgeous pots and have been given valuable advice by very helpful, knowledgeable staff. It's a  beautiful, peaceful environment and one can see much of what is sold planted in their personal gardens. It is treasure!

Avant Gardens is a wonderful source for less common varieties of plants. The staff is knowledgeable and helpful. There are some truly unique and beautiful offerings here.

I ordered 3 perennials in March 2019 which were delivered as promised in May: anemone, hardy ageratum and variegated burnet. Very well packed and all are in excellent condition. Update Oct 2020: All three plants came through the winter just fine and are thriving and beautiful. I'll definitely order from them again.

The largest, most varied collection of succulents I've ever seen. Very helpful and knowledgeable staff.
