Bill Quinn did a wonderful job on body work and trim on my car. He was prompt, efficient and very pleasant to work with and also very reasonable, I highly recommend his shop.

A smaller shop but doesnt mean any less of a job. Ive been here twice for car repairs, once in 2013 and once earlier 2022. The 2013 was a pretty significant rear end job and the 2022 was a front end job. Both times the job was done well and Bill was great to work with. This place beats some of the other auto bodies Ive used over the years.

Called about getting some small work repairs on my vehicle and he told me that my car was too old and he would pass on the job. RUDE.

M daughters was in a car accident a couple weeks ago, her car had to go into the body shop to have the drivers side corner panel and bumper fixed. I got a referral for this place in Chelmsford on the Tyngsboro town page it's called "Stonybrook Auto. Well let me just say it was a nightmare dealing with the owner "Bill".  He called me last Thursday and said it was all fixed and that he was waiting for one part to hold the bumper on. I said ok and asked him can you give me a quote to fix her heat, the heat doesn't work.. and said please don't do anything with it until I get a quote. He said he would call me the next day and let me know .. come Friday no phone call, I didn't call him because I didn't want to be a pest and I know he's busy. He called me Monday and said he ordered the part for the heater, I said I thought I told you to not do anything until I get a quote. He then got loud and said oh no you told me to fix it and I told him no I asked for a quote. Then I said well can you please give me a quote, and he refused he said I won't know until the ion is done. Then he told me that he vended the job to another mechanic Johnson auto body, so I asked him to please call Johnson's and get a quote he got loud again and refused.  I then told him I was going to call and he did no that's my job! I hung up with him and called Johnson and they guy was very nice and gave me a quote .. which was fine. So I called bill back and told him I called and it was fine. He continues to give me attitude and is not happy I called. Yesterday morning Johnson's called and said my heat was working and he had called bill to come get the car, I called bill two times I finally get ahold of him around 2 pm ( he closes at 3) I asked if my car was ready and he said I'm waiting for Johnson's to call.. we'll then he tells me he didn't have time to get it today. So I told him tomorrow was fine and I said no write a check for the quote that Johnsons gave me and he said no I want cash only @. He has told me after he started working on my car that he doesn't take checks over 500.00 so he wanted the 1300.00 for the body work in cash, that was fine but then I decided to give him a check for the heat which was 388.00 he yelled at me in the phone and said I wanted f****n cash. I was scared to go there alone as he is not playing with a full deck so I had my daughters father deal with him to pick the car up, he didn't give him a hard time. What a nightmare .. oh and now she has a tire sensor light on the side he worked on that won't shut off but I don't feel like dealing with him so I will pay someone else to fix it! End rant .. please stay away from Stonybrook  auto in Chelmsford. He doesn't even deserve 1 star.
