OK realtor, horrible landlord...I have had 2 experiences with Cheryl, one positive and one negative. To me, the lack of integrity outweighs the good. She sold me and my ex-husband a house. That transaction was positive. However, at a later date she rented a house she owns to me. We were excellent tenants - paid rent early, never complained. Our lease was up in December so we paid November's rent. However, when we went to the house to get our curtains that we had forgotten, there was other people's stuff everywhere AND they were doing construction on the house! Her husband drove up and asked why we were there. I explained we were supposed to have until the end of December. Cheryl then told me she assumed I was moving out end of November. This made no sense. However, I was okay with that since I had moved to my new home. I asked her for my $2000 back for November since that was technically my last month there. She backtracked and told me I can have it until the end of December. This was not acceptable - other people had been in there, construction was going on, she assumed we were out, and we were fine leaving the curtains for her. She refused to give me my $ back, even though I was nice enough to say $1500 would be okay. She ignores my texts/calls. I'm not sure if she blocked me. I also keep getting billed for her gas and even the gas company cannot reach her. This is extremely unprofessional and unfortunately shows her true colors. Even though she was a decent realtor, she is an awful landlord. I thought she was a great person, but sadly she has proven me wrong. Please do yourself a favor and never rent from Cheryl. Take your chances with using her as your realtor.
