These guys can take on any water job. My situation was custom and they designed a solution that fit my needs and budget. John Larsen did the design, and son Jake did the installation. Very satisfied. Service: Engineering design

I called this company because my well had stopped working. They came and looked at it and told me that the problem was electrical and that I would need an electrician. They ran a temporary line to the well, but couldn't permanently fix the problem. They sent a bill of over $1800, but the problem wasn't fixed. Plus they removed the sticker of the original installer (with his contact information) and put theirs on my well. They listed charges like "Underground Danger/Hazard fee" , but they didn't do any digging or underground work, plus "project management" PLUS the service fee/ emergency upgrade. There was no "project management" I had to dig the trench myself and have my electrician (for another $1900 ) run the electricity to the well. BEWARE:These people SERIOUSLY overcharge for their sevices. EDIT: The reply has many factual errors. First, I do not run a practice from my house. I have a separate office and do not and have never had a patient at my home. Second, the property is not a huge working farm, like he makes it sound. It's a single family home with a garage apartment that has a tenant. There are a couple of retired horses in the backyard. I don't know what he meant by crawling under a hazardous area- the well area is accessable and is in no way hazardous. There is no crawling involved. Additionally, he insisted on talking to me, and texted me several times, even though I was busy and didn't need to hear from him-guess he was just trying to find something he could charge for. As far as communication, they told my tennant that there would be no water until Monday, so she left for the weekend, leaving her water spigot on (She had tried to turn on when there was no water and didn't remember which way was on or off, but figured that it didn't matter becuase there was no water anyway). When the water came on during the weekend the tennant wasn't there, resulting in a flood that caused over $25,000 in damage. They should have referred that communication to me, so that I would have been aware of my tennant's absence. She told me that she had asked them about the water and told them that she wanted to be there when the water came back on so she could make sure that the water spigot was off. Additionally, I tried to call the company on several occasions and received no reply.

Business Response on Google May 12th, 2023
This project was an emergency whole-house, no-water request-for-service that began Monday, October 10, 2022 at 6:56 PM. Multiple phone calls and texts between the homeowner and myself continued until 10:04 PM. Those 3 hours are considered "Project Management" and were spent acquiring all the necessary information, documentation, photos, background, etc in an attempt to troubleshoot the situation on the 26 acre property in Essex, Ma. The property has multiple buildings, horses, at least 1 tenant and the property owner's own residence where she runs a professional practice with clients. She was extremely anxious and wanted us there immediately to get her water as all the above entities rely on a single well & pump system for their water source. I was hoping to successfully troubleshoot the system over the phone for her, and if I had, there would have been no charge. However, I was not, so our service vehicle and technician Nick L arrived at her property the following morning about 9:30 am after the original installer never returned her call (that's why we replaced their service sticker with ours). After several hours of hard work which including repeatedly crawling under a building (“hazard fee”) to access the water system controls and sending a second helper out to the property to assist in the work, the problem was identified as a broken electrical line buried under the ground. Eventually we were able to restore water by bypassing the existing electrical line and running a new temporary one along the surface of the ground. This was a safe, but only temporary fix, and the permanent fix would require an 18" deep trench and a licensed electrician that she would need to hire herself to complete the permanent repair, as we are not a licensed electrician. While my son Nick was busy doing the work, I was available to the homeowner to explain everything and answer her questions throughout the day (“Project Management”) however she was admittedly busy in her home working with her patients most of the time, so most of the communication was via texting which ceased at 3:43 pm after she had water again and was happy. An invoice for $1740.00 for our work was emailed to her upon completion. Due to monthly finance charges, the current bill is over $1900. After months of email requests for payment without a response, this bad review was placed. I'm sorry she does not see the value of the work we did, but after carefully reviewing the bill and the circumstances surrounding it we feel it is fair and justified considering the time, effort and expenses on our end that was employed to correct her no-water-emergency. I respectfully requested that she contact me to discuss her bill or pay it in full, but she failed to do so. Thank you, John Larsen - Owner Well Water Connection, Inc.
