Enterprise Rent-A-Car - Closed

The worst Entreprise I have ever used. Anyway, you can book on their website and when you arrive there they will send you to the Waltham location. I was getting there by taxi from Logan. So basically you get there and 60$ later, you ask the cab to keep driving for another 40 plus waiting time. This outlet should be shut down by Entreprise headquarters. Unacceptable. Absolute scam artist here, make sure to take photos and videos around the whole vehicle or they will make something up and charge you for damages. When I returned the car, they claimed the car had a dent on the hood and they said it was probably from a "hail storm". When they sent me photos of this so called dent, it was not even the size of a pencil eraser, and they charged me over $300 in damage fees to fix this "dent" as well as notifying my insurance which raised my insurance cost. When I picked up the car the first time, it was raining and the car was wet so this tiny "dent" was easily unnoticeable. This "dent" was so small you could barely see it in the photos and I asked if I could come see it in person to verify and they said it was "already in the shop getting fixed". This was just hours after the car was dropped off. Also make sure to drop off the car when they are there because if you just drop it off for them to check it alone they will come up with some bogus charge. Since this experience I have learned to always take photos and videos when you pick up a rental car otherwise they could charge you for anything and its your word against theirs. I have had good experiences at other enterprises but the Newton, Ma one specifically is not worth it at all. Stay away

Unfortunately, this has been a disappointing experience. We picked up a Chrysler Pacifica 2020 minivan (apparently the only one they had) for our 10-day road trip and it smells of smoke. Not just a faint smell either- it is really strong. I called the branch for TEN minutes this morning and no one ever answered. I was put on hold dozens of times without even a greeting. Will take our business elsewhere next time.
