We love our condo!!! Blake and the members of his crew did a wonderful job. The pride they take in the workmanship and finishes is evident the minute you walk in the door. We bought our condo unit during the height of the COVID experience. During this time we had weekly Thursday meetings with Blake to discuss finishes, tile, lighting and any questions we may have had. His advice was invaluable. These Thursday meetings were something Steve and I came to look forward to. We know that they moved heaven and earth to get us into our condo on time! Even after we moved in Blake and his crew addressed all of our questions and needs in a timely manor. Moving is stressful and I can honestly say the Joppa group made the experience as pleasurable as it could be. The Joppa Group transformed a decaying, uninhabitable single family home into a remarkable side by side condo duplex (We own one of the two). The transformation was nothing short of remarkable particularly in light of the built in constraints that the project faced. Most notably the project was undertaken in a designated historic district that tightly monitors remodeling initiatives and even requires matching of certain architectural details. While the project began as a "spec" renovation, the Joppa Group was willing to entertain. an early purchase offer that also came with a variety of "custom" requests. While this no doubt added an additional layer of complexity to the job, the Joppa Group (Blake Wilcox in particular) was un-phased by the challenge. We found him to be flexible, creative and ultimately willing to accommodate our needs when at all possible. He employs a core group of highly skilled crafts people who collectively exhibited a level of ownership and pride in their work that is a rarity these days. We also found his array of specialty contractors (e.g., tiling, flooring, landscaping) to be top notch. We have already retained 2-3 of them for additional work. Most importantly, The Joppa Group (and Blake Wilcox in particular ) remains highly vested in all their projects and is always available for a question, an explanation or even to drop by and take a look at something. I would recommend the Joppa Group without reservation to anyone considering a renovation to their own home or anyone considering buying one of their rehabilitated properties. Service: Remodeling

My wife and I built a custom home in Newburyport. The house was delivered on time and the entire process went VERY smoothly. Our weekly zoom calls with the builder were very helpful and both my wife and I got to the point where we very much enjoyed the process. The one thought I always had throughout the building of the home was that it was built by craftsmen not carpenters. It was obvious from the beginning that the people who were working on this home very much cared about the finished product. The were all very communicative and were an absolute pleasure to deal with. There were some issues after we moved in but they were all dealt with in a timely matter.
