The MPG Home Design team took on our somewhat lost cause project of creating a plan for an addition to our Plum Island home in Newburyport. They not only patiently listened and collaborated with us to create a beautiful concept, but researched and steered the best possible route for navigating the complex path through the historic commission, zoning, and conservation. We look forward to working with them through construction with their guidance and expertise on the best people to build with and for advice on style elements and resources. We just finished working with Phin and Mindi on designing an addition and new floor plan for the main level of our home. Our project was a bit complicated with lots of moving parts, and they guided us through it with ease, and helped us figure out what to do with our home. We now have a design we are in love with, and cant wait to have it built. We appreciated how they explained the process of working with them in a simple, easy to understand way, and we knew upfront what to expect in regards to the general cost, time frame for the designs, and steps in the process. They are also a pleasure to work with, easy to communicate with, and timely. They have a great design sense, and understood that we wanted to modernize the look of our home, while also having it mesh with some of the original character present. We highly recommend MPG to anyone looking to transform their home!

My husband and I worked with Phin and his team at MPG Home Design on drawing up schematics for two projects for our main residence. They listened to our wants, concerns, and ideas. They over delivered in options during the first round of schematics. This led to us exploring details of each schematic designs and coming up with final designs that were exactly what we are looking for. Our two projects are converting a portico to a vestibule/small mudroom and adding a bathroom in our master bedroom. After the schematics were finalized, Phin helped us reach out to several contractors so we could find someone who fits our budget, timeline, and the quality of work we are looking for. We are excited to see these drawings come to life!

We had just started exploring the idea of hiring an architect for a kitchen/great room renovation project. When my wife Erica came across the MPG website she called me over to her computer screen and said "Look at this!" We were both blown away by the designs we saw - elegant, rustic, stylish, eye-popping. Kind of, well, perfect. Erica called and left a voicemail that went something like, "We probably can't afford you but we'd love to chat." The next day we got a call back from Mindi and Phin, who were really concerned that we considered them "out of our league." They assured us that MPG works within a broad range of budgets and project sizes. We were excited. Mindi and Phin came out to meet us and take measurements. They were really nice and had this great energy. We could feel how much they love their work. Then came the architectural drawings and plans, which were beyond our expectations, while - true to their word - within our budget. Awesome, right?! So we hired them to project manage our entire reno, and advise/coordinate on everything from design to materials to colors to appliances to contractors. This is our first big renovation project and they have helped educate us about the process and kept us up to speed on all the details. Every step of the way, they have been super responsive and right on target with their suggestions. All of our interactions with MPG have been incredibly positive and professional, and we can't wait to work with them more in the future!

Mindi has an effortless aptitude for design and discovering her clients' true design wants and needs. The team is prompt, super easy to work with, communicative and a joy to have on your side as you take on new projects! While making rooms look custom and curated, Mindi also is very thoughtful to budget and ensures every project can be wonderfully executed without breaking the bank.
