Had a failed pump on my inground pool.  Called around and found Bob Branagan.  He said he could come out in two days (actually one day, I requested two) to install a new and far more cost efficient pump.  Said he would arrive at 11:00AM and showed up at 10:30AM!Quickly did the work and I will hire him to close the pool next month.

10/10 experience with Branagans Pool Repair installing a brand new filter for our inground pool. We opened our pool for the season and noticed that our pool filter was leaking a ton of water out of the base. I tried calling our usual pool company and others (actually 9 of the closest pool companies to Framingham) and no one responded, except for Bob who called us back within 48 hours. Bob asked me to text him pictures, gave a quote and then came by in person to confirm his thoughts and the pricing. He actually advised we could hold out longer if we wanted to. Bob ordered the new filter and came by to install it when it arrived the next week. He also disposed of the older filter and materials. Thank you!

I called Branagan to open my pool when my usual guy moved out of state. He said he'd come "about two weeks" from the call, but gave me no firm date. He showed up without telling me he was coming, and took off the cover, shocked the pool and started up the pump. He also pulled up ALL the iron stakeholders, which somehow he didn't recognize we're not meant to come out. Now I have remember where each one goes so put the cover on again? He also moved a rocked from a wall to hold open the gate, but didn't put it back, which is just sloppy. He did not make sure the pump was working (it was leaking out the bottom where he didn't tighten the bolts,) he did not hook up the chlorine pump though it was with all the other pool equipment, and he left trash behind. $350 is the cost of my lesson, that I pass on here for free.
