Place is incredible. The admin staff are rude and lazy. Nursing is great and Christine was an angel I needed at the time. Very grateful.

I was discharged because they found drunk on my roommate they didn't fine any drugs on me or near me then told me I had to figure a way out of there when they are suppose to drive u to the closest train station there's no groups on recover there are no groups at all ll they only care about a paycheck from mass health

My ex husband died here last Saturday because the woman who runs this place is a disgusting poor excuse for a human. Everybody in that facility knew he was roaming there property for hours on end and did nothing. Lied about a "sewer" issue that didn't exist. So they canceled his bed and didn't follow any protocols knowing he was homeless. My three sons 14, 20, and 23 want to thank you for ruining there lives forever. Hope you all sleep well knowing he died aline like a dog on the ground outside! May God have mercy on you all

We paid $3000 to get our family member into a safe , medically monitored Center. They called on day six to tell us she was convulsing and being sent to UMASS emergency room. When I got there, she was incoherent and had vomit on her. They had to give her 2 units of saline because she was so dehydrated. She still tested positive to cocaine and meth. Sunrise has a contract with a cab company and she left UMASS in a taxi. I went to sunrise and they said she had not returned. We checked the surveillance tapes and she was never dropped off even though THE DRIVER SAID SHE WAS!! I had to file a missing person report with the Millbury police. She actually had gone to get some clean clothes and the driver said he would wait- which he didnt. This facility has a nurse on staff-leading you to believe the patient is safe. PLEASE dont send your loved one there!!! She would have gotten better care if we put her in a room and locked the door !!!!

Very poorly executed, my husband was admitted at nighttime only to be released 2.5 days later after being told he would stay for 5-7 days. For an addict who is advocating for himself it is a big deal when the facility doesnt diligently take it serious when told he is not ready after 2.5days. Mid afternoon told your going home no day before or morning warning that you have completed your stay no careful planning to prevent relapse and no extension offered to ensure proper transition. Left mid afternoon to relapse an hr later. The dangers of doing this to individuals results in death. Yes its the addicts choice to use but to think that less than 7 days is enough to help a person have a clear mind to make a healthy choice is statistically impossible. One thing he had was a great caseworker who tried to advocate for him and who was also shocked he was being released with no plan and warning. Good think another place room his cry for help he is now being cared for at a 30 day treatment center who takes his life seriously. Dont attempt this facility if you are a person who needs person centered treatment and needs more than 3 days to get it.
