        Don't move here if you have kids. They say; "you are exactly where you need to be"... well, not if you spawned. Loved this place until kids (and most adults) could no longer enjoy themselves.

        Our apartment itself was exactly what I expected, the staff and neighbors were amazing. Loved that noise really doesnt travel between the walls and everything is so clean. I would suggest if you have small children though, this is not the place to be. There is a dog park, but no place for kids to play. If they do play outside anywhere near the building you will be reported. You must leave the property. There is no splashing, laughing or playing in the pool because young adults will complain. If this were an adults only community it would make sense but children are frowned upon. No chalk use, no playing in snow, nothing that will bother others.

        We have been so happy here since day one. The grounds, dog park, and pool are well maintained, the apartments are large and airy, and the buildings wonderful. In turning these buildings into apartments great care was taken to leave the character intact, with exposed pipes, brick walls, and even some old mill equipment for decorations! The management and maintenance staff could not be more wonderful! Maintenance requests are dealt with on the same day in a very friendly and professional manner. The office staff is super responsive to questions and always willing to help. They'll even find out where the best Chinese food in the area is by polling other residents for you! :D Now that's going above and beyond!

      Hello Ben,I'm very sorry you felt this way while at Spark Millbury. Please know we enjoy all the families and children that were/are here. I've seen a lot of children enjoy themselves on bicycles around the community, at the pool and at our community events. We are also walking distance to the Windle fields which offers a great area for families to run and play outside of the amenities we offer. Best of luck with everything in the future and in your new home!

      Hello Amanda,We are so glad you enjoyed your time here at Spark Millbury! We are very lucky to have such a great staff and community as you've mentioned :) While we don't have a playground for children, we still love seeing families here and offer space for children to play and enjoy themselves! This year we had excessive issues of splashing at the pool and had to address it- we of course encourage and want laughter and other playing to be had! In our email regarding snow, we mentioned kids are welcome to play out in the snow and on the snow banks, but the issue of concern was that children were playing on snow banks during snow removal which is not safe. Outside of snow removal times children have been seen and are more than welcome to play in snow! And with the chalk, in our email we just asked that chalk be used elsewhere and not directly in front of the entrance to the building, on patio or pool deck. I'm sorry the impression you had was that we were not child friendly as we most certainly are! Best of luck with everything!
