Deceptive charges! One of the strangest things I have ever witnessed. My friend and I have come here a few times, but had never ordered food before. Today we decided to order food. The food took unusually long, but we didnt pay too much attention to it. About 40 min later we noticed a guy walk in and drop a bag of food off at the bar. The bar then delivered this food to us. Our food came in styrofoam containers which confirmed that they had ordered this food from another restaurant and had it delivered. My friend and I each ordered chicken finger subs which were advertised as $12 each. When we went to go check out, our bill was $17 each! Naturally I was confused and asked why it was so much more than advertised. First he tried saying it was taxes, but anyone with a brain would know that there is no way that 5 dollars of the difference was taxes. I then asked for an itemized receipt. The extra charge? a $3.50 tip that they charge YOU that THEY give to the delivery driver! So they made the decision for YOU that THEY would tip the driver $3.50. My friend and I both ordered the same sub from the same place and we BOTH paid $3.50 in delivery charges, which means this delivery driver got tipped $7. The kid behind the bar tried to downplay the whole things and act like it was normal when it was anything but. If I knew that they bring in the food from an outside restaurant and that I would be the one paying to have it delivered I never would have ordered it. Just know that ANY item you order off of there menu will be $3.50 more! Very strange. It is getting ridiculous with the deceptive charges businesses are trying to sneak into your bills these days. This is just yet another business to do it.
