If I could less then one star I would. I have been a customer of ECF for several years now. So the expectation is that if you have a service issue they would handle it in a timely manner. They decided that since I do not purchase a new boat from them year over year that they would no longer service my boat. Given the times are good and money talks, so anyone buying a new boat will get treated accordingly. But when you are only a storage and service client you are treated in a different manner. Cant wait to see what happens when the economy dips and they are scrambling for sales and service. Lastly response time is horrible. In this day and age with all of the smart devices everyone carries there is no excuse for a delayed response when you are in the service industry. Very sad to see where they are today compared to the attitude they had when they broke into the Lake Winnipesaukee market.

Use caution, the president, Dan Lemieux and staff, Dan Wettergreen and Bob Dugar, lie. We purchased a used boat from them and were told on multiple occasions that the boat would be "summarized" and "water ready". To our surprise, we put the boat in the water and it almost sunk because the cover was missing over the shaft, allowing water to flood the boat. When I asked what was done to the boat to "summarize" and make it "water ready" the response from all, president included, was: refer to the "As Is" contract terms, which for the record, were never shared during the sales process. I asked for a signed copy of the terms and the service records and their response was to "get a lawyer" and that they wouldn't respond to me anymore. Its because they don't have the signed contract terms, because they never shared it with me, and because they lied and don't have service records for the boat. Its with a mechanic now who confirmed the boat was not prepped for the season as they said it would be. Really disheartening this was our first boat purchase and we thought going through a broker would be more legit than someone on craigslist, but have been proven wrong by this group of people.

Bought my cobalt off them 15 years ago and had it serviced by them for many years, before going locally to save the driving time. Now I want to have it serviced by a cobalt dealer and they don't seem to care. Guess I will get my next boat somewhere else. Too bad, really liked the owner Dan when I bought it.
