I have waited one year to post my review on my new construction home build completed by Al Gamache & Son, so that I could give an accurate review of all phases of the project. My husband and I first started this project in the summer of 2019, he helped me find someone to draw up plan designs, helped pull permits for demo of the exsisting house, listened to all my complaining while I dealt with Conservation Committee issues (all of this before I ever even signed a contract with him to build my home). Al is very easy to talk to, work with, and very knowledgeable about sub contractors and who he would recommend for the areas he did not cover in our contract (I learned a lesson the hard way, by not following Al's recommendation on the Kitchen Contractor.) His crew of guys were always very friendly and his son, Justin was always very patient with me and with all my questions. Both Al & Justin were also very good with dealing with my Dad, who showed up almost daily to oversee every aspect of the build, and all the changes he wanted to make. Dad knows best, but Al always made sure to check in with me for final input. We moved into our home in May 2021, the pandemic presented a lot of challenges and slowed things down but Al and his crew worked as fast and best they could to get us into our new home. It felt like forever, but boy was it worth the wait! After we moved in small issues would arrive here and there and Al/Justin were always right over to address them promptly. It has now been a year since we moved in and I think we are pretty well off (still a slight issue with basement plumbing being worked out) but overall, I am completely satisfied with Al and his whole team! I would definately recommend him to anyone who is building a home or in need of any kind of home improvement. He is a real straight shooter! Thank You a million times, Al, for a beautiful home to raise my family in! We LOVE it, and it's plenty big after all my worrying that it wouldn't be! Service: Home building
