Only an observation. As a resident of Medford (my home overlooks the playground), I can't but notice how very white the students have been.

This is truly an amazing school, and given the ability, compassion, and education level of the teachers, is a true gem. Someone else commented on the lack of diversity, and that really isn't the case, both in the staff and in the families. Certainly more than my older child's current public school! I also think that having Tufts grad students on the staff is a huge asset. They are studying child development, so they really walk the talk, and are eager to engage with each and every child, including challenging learners. And the head teachers have years of experience at many other local (and more expensive) schools. We transferred from another preschool and there is absolutely no comparison. They just really "get" children, and endeavor to teach compassion, tolerance, and STEAM activities, and do it all through play and projects.
