Forest St Dry Cleaners and Tailoring

Fairly priced for simple work but do not go for detailed work! I went there to get 2 of my dresses altered, one of them needed a simple job as length trim, she did good job and the price was fair. I brought another dress that i bought from internet for the Indian ceremony part of the wedding (it came in wrong size). I was hesitantto alter it since alteration(around 130 i remember) was more expensive than the 100$ dress itself. I raised my concern to her, she didnt say this cant be altered and we decided to go ahead. When I tried it after the alteration, there was still so much space underarmarea that i could fit my fist in it (the pic doesntdo justice, you could see through if i raised my arms). When I showed her, she said it will be weird if she takes out more from there, I think she just didnt want to deal with it. She was either supposed to tell me from the beginning it won't be fitting me after alteration so I should just return, or willing to edit it more until it fits me. I ended up spending 220$ and NOT BE ABLE TO WEAR THE DRESS in the wedding. It looked so bad and the extra loose part with the sequence underarms was hurting me so I just decided to borrow a simple dress from my friend. Overall was very bad experience. Please do not take your dress that needs detailed work such as bridesmaid or your bridal gown there.

Tailor is very professional and talented. I had adjustments made to my work pants and it came out amazing. Great fit, and doesn't look like it was ever altered, clean job overall. This place does amazing work and I'm grateful for their hard work.
