DO NOT rent from these people. We were tenents of theirs for at least a decade and initially it was wonderful. Then their recovering adict of a son moved below us. He proceeded to harass us at every turn. He would call his mother if we went in and out of our apartment too many times, if my 8 year old ran up the stairs and stomped too much, if my toddler ran his toy over the tile floor at 2 in the afternoon. He then verbally attacked my husband, in front of my 8 year old son, using inapproriate language and almost taking a swing at my husband. Everytime we tried to defend ourselves to Maureen and Greg, we were told too bad. We eventually found a house and moved out, but apparently that was not enough. We received a phone call from Greg Mitrakas, who had not seen the empty apartment, that we were not going to get our security deposit back, because the carpet was not cleaned (this carpet is 20 years old), that the stove was not cleaned (the stove that only has two working burners on it) and that we did not reattached the base board heaters, which we have picture of them reattached as we left the apartment. While living in this apartment, my husband had brought the electrical up to code for them by installing GFI outlets in the bathroom as well as an overhead light. He also repainted the nursey from a god awful marine blue color left from the last tenant. He installed a new vanity, and installed new carpets in two out of three bedrooms, all at only the cost of materials. I am horrified at how long time tentants have been treated by these people. They have let their son run out five tenants out of this building and will not do anything to stop his harassment. Please DO NOT rent from these people!!
