I Love Acquiring design and visit every time I am in the states and always get a few unique pieces I only wished I lived closer for I would love to buy most things in the shop. I highly recommend a visit if you like old treasures as I do

Ive purchased a few pieces from Acquiring Design and I always get compliments on them! When the store was in Arlington I purchased an antique cobblers bench to use as a coffee table. While I was there, I also noticed an antique chocolate tin from a company that used to be located in my neighborhood, so I snatched that up too! Now they are in a big old mill in Lawrence with tons of vendors and stand out with their unique, curated selection. If you ever shop at these types of markets you know the individual vendors can be a bit hit or miss with their offerings. Acquiring Designs space is beautiful! I purchased an antique optometrist cabinet that is honestly the highlight of my living room. Its been in the background of many a Zoom call during the pandemic and someone has frequently stopped to say, oh, I LOVE that cabinet! If you are always on the hunt for a new-to-you piece of furniture or a Knick knack, check this place out!
