The amount of time, care, and knowledge that went into my appointment with my cat was exceptional. Price was a little high, but it's probably average.

If I could give a negative 10 stars I would. You'd have a better chance getting a correct diagnosis from WebMD for your pup. Charged us over $1k for xrays and fluids, told us there wasn't a blockage and never ran basic labs. Thank God we trusted our intuition, and took our pup to Tufts. It was a blockage. To add insult to injury, the VCA office manager called to check in after a series of phone calls she offered no resolution to an incorrect diagnosis that could have ended our pups life. RUN don't walk away from VCA.

I am very grateful to the team of the VCA that they had so lovingly taken care of my Labrador dog Lola. The treatment was professional and very competent. Everyone made a great effort and put me at ease. Even though I am in great concern for Lola, I know she is in the best hands. Thank you very much for that. New: Lotti had her first visit to VCA Lancaster today. Lola had already loved this veterinary clinic so much. Lotti is now a fan, too. I love how friendly everyone is here, from the front desk to the vet tech to the vet tech. The financial plan makes everything much easier. I highly recommend the VCA, and so does Lotti. I had my annual visit today and again, very professional, very friendly, very competent. Lotti and I love the team and the place!

VCA LANCASTER I am an established pt with this practice. I called on Monday to schedule an appointment for my dog. ( ear wax buildup/shaking head a lot) I spoke with Katie the office/practice manager. She said that we are booking out into April now and have nothing available until then. Your best bet is to call tomorrow morning at 8:00 am to see if we have anything available between appointments. Today is already filled and we have no space in between appointments for him to be seen. I said Im an established pt, no sick appointments available before April? No. This morning I call at 8:15. Im told to come in at 1:30. In the exam room the tech tells me there are 2 exam fees; 1 is an urgent visit fee, and the other is their standard appointment/visit fee. I say well it shouldnt be the urgent fee where I was told by Katie to call every morning at 8 to see if I could be fit in. I said if it were an URGENT matter I wouldnt have waited and either taken my dog to my sister who is a veterinarian an hour from here, or gone to the emergency clinic. The tech states, let me check with the Dr. she leaves the room and comes back a few minutes later to tell me she spoke with both the Dr and Katie the office manager and that I would be charged an urgent fee. Again, I wouldve taken my dog to the emergency clinic IF it were urgent or an emergency. ( I do have pet insurance for that reason) So an additional $25-$30 based on instructions from the office manager because they dont have any appointments available until April for sick visits and I was told to call every morning to see if we can fit you in their inability to fit their established clients in in timely manner or manage the clients need that they have when NOT routine care ends up being an up charge for them to fit me in????! Poor office practice!!!!! Not the first poor interaction/experience Ive had with the office manager. I hope she doesnt do this with all the others they cant schedule for anything outside of wellness checks. Watch your charges if youre being fit in between appointments at the managers advice and direction because youll be charged more where they dont have room on their existing schedule for established pts that need anything outside of routine care. As for the veterinary care. The vets have all been very caring, patient, and thorough when it has come to their interactions with my furbabies. The vets are amazing and the rest of the front office staff are great too.
