Horribly run program. No communication amongst the staff members. Many of them act as if they are corrections officers other than “advocates”. Lots of favoritism. Very disorganized. You would think for a group of women working with the “abused” demographic they’d have compassion but they don’t. They feel good about saying they are helping you rather than actually helping you. There’s a few good apples there and you will know them right away. The others are so awful in comparison that it’s easy for the ones who actually have a heart for this industry to stand out. What’s worse is the good ones want to do well for the residents of the house but they know the “captain” of the ship has control-issues and rather run the program into the ground so their hands are tied. It was an interesting experience, however I’m fearful for the ones who are dependent on this program. By the grace of God I had alternative options and was able to say “enough is enough” and leave. May God be with the ones who remain.
