        I switched my ill mother to Beacon after having a very unfortunate experience with the VNA Hospice. The nursing and aid staff was absolutely amazing. From the very beginning, everyone showed true caring and compassion to the entire family. Every member of the Beacon team who cared for my mother took time to listen to her life stories and showed a genuine interest in her as a unique person. They offered support to myself and the other family members taking care of her by constantly giving us encouragement and always making sure we had everything needed to provide good care. The staff made sure we had every supply we might need as well as providing a comfort kit of medicine (unlike the VNA Hospice) to make sure my Mom would be kept comfortable. It was a long 9 month ordeal and today my Mom passed away peacefully. Beacon was here to assist in everything. I can't say enough good things about this company.

        Some caring individuals but a horrible organization. Terrible communication, lack of follow through and little to no support for a caregiver. Shop around.
