    I have such anxiety and apprehension going to the dentist - to the point my hands shake walking in. Dr. Codjoe and his entire staff are simply wonderful! Every person I interacted with was so kind and put me at ease. I called two days ago for a cleaning, was told they were booking into March but that I would be added to their cancellation list. I never expected to have an appt as early as today! If youre looking for compassionate, gentle care - look no more!

    Once I decided to go ahead with extractions I knew I had made a mistake. This was a business that needed to move quickly to serve many at their prices. My mistake was rushing into this decision for such a painful procedure without stronger antibiotics following it.

    Ive been coming here for years. I went here to get a crown and after my referral I was told they would put the initial appointment as a deposit towards the crown. So I brought that up upon paying for the temporary crown appointment and she said I had waiting to too long in between appointments. So I made an appointment for the next week to get the crown and I brought it up because I was really bothered they wouldnt honor the initial deposit so I asked the lady and she looked me in the eye and said rudely like I was the scum of the earth we talked about this last week and nothing is going to change. As if I was out of line for even bringing it up. I was shocked that this was her reply. Instead of saying Im sorry but our policy isI hope you understand we value your business. Or anything remotely professional. Its not like I went somewhere else so what difference does it really make? Im usually pretty non confrontational But I asked her why she is being so rude and she was shocked when I called her out for being rude. I asked to talk to someone else at this point. She said its just me and held her hand out for my credit card. So I asked to talked to the doctor and she had me sit and wait. Long story short I never talked him and they took off the initial deposit. Its difficult to express the attitude this lady had over a yelp review but as the face of your dental practice you expect someone who is friendly and cordial and knows the proper way to speak with a client. Its the principal of the matter more than anything. Customer service is not a lost art its reciprocal respect. If youre that unhappy maybe a receptionist isnt your best option. Ive always had a great experience with Dr. Codjoe and I thought he was always the coolest dentist Ive been to but Sara (I think thats her name) the receptionist is a horrible look. I cant be the first person to bring this up because this lady just had a scowl on her face every time I go there. I will not be returning.

    Ive lived on Cape for a while and this is the BEST dental service Ive ever received. It starts with Sarah on the phone, so soft spoke, understanding and accommodating. My dilemma started with one sleepless night, I gave them a call at about 12 something the next day, told Sarah I was in so much pain, she got me in within 2 hours for an emergency appointment. I first saw Mari, who was very nice she prepped me for the consultation. Dr Codjoe, came in and did his checks, once he was done I was given options and I decided to have both wisdom teeth extracted. I was prescribed antibiotic and pain medication for one week. I was back to do the extractions after 7 days and was so nervous. checked in with Sarah, who is was still very nice, got prepped and and briefed by Mari, still nice. Once Dr Codjoe, came in he went over the procedure with me again, numbed my mouth up and we were ready to go. The first teeth was out in 5 minutes, maybe less ZERO PAIN!!! I had no idea it was out until he said it was, the second teeth we knew had issues so it was a bit more complicated, but I still didnt know when it came out. One think I really appreciated was him asking how I was feeling every 5 seconds, the moment I flinched he stopped. To top it off I was not even a patient of theirs to begin with, but now I am and my whole family will be too! Everybody there seemed to like their jobs, and you dont see that often on cape. Thank you!!
