Gene from HomeState Mortgage was highly referred by our close friend as we were first time home buyers for our finances. Gene has helped and guided us through all the steps and things that we needed to understand and do for the mortgage loan process and explained to us all documents that are needed. I approached Gene from HomeState Mortgage to finance my ROE purchase after my mortgage was declined by another bank due to repair issues noted on appraisal report even though it was an 'as-is' appraisal. I spoke to Gene he reviewed the docs and promised his banker will provide mortgage. As he promised he came back with a clear to close in 7 Calendar days [5 working days]. It was Amazing..!!! Gene has stayed true to his philosophy of working with utmost integrity and honesty. Being a first time homebuyer he has been patient with me throughout the whole process answering every question with professionalism and instantaneously as well. Always putting clients first , I got a really good rate for a 30 year fixed and when I told others about it they were surprised that I could lock-in at such low rates. I would gladly recommend Gene to anyone looking for a mortgage loan or in general doing business with Gene.
