Horrible experience! I've spent a month trying to make a new patient appointment. Just leave messages on their answering machine only to get a call back instructing me to call the same number and leave another voicemail. If you care about your health, go elsewhere... Anywhere.

I've been going to that client for over 12 years and there are great doctors inside the client go see and find out how good they are as u can meet the Doctors yourself.

This place has some of the best doctors I have ever interacted with. Very caring individuals who actually take the time to figure out what is causing you to feel unwell, and to discover what the problem is. However, there is one major flaw with this clinic. And that is it's pharmacy. Today ( Friday ) I called to fill a refill on a very important prescription of mine, that I need for my well-being. The phone just rings endlessly. No voicemail. No one picking up. I decided maybe I should actually travel to the pharmacy because maybe they were just very busy. There was some light snow, and slush on the roads, but nothing serious. They closed due to the "storm" ( I put that in quotation marks because it is hardly a storm at all.). There were multiple people walking by the clinic in frustration realizing that it was closed ( I wouldn't be surprised if they were facing a similar issue as me . ) The problem here is that closing the pharmacy, without warning, and giving no alternative method for people to get their medications is not only inconsiderate, but irresponsible. What if someone needs a medication that there life depends on? In my case, I can have severe withdrawals and even fatal seizures when abruptly stopping the medicine I am prescribed. But I can imagine other scenarios where the pharmacy closing in such a manner could cause problems for people. What if someone needs medicine for their heart? What if a diabetic needs their insulin? This practice of suddenly closing their pharmacy without warning at the first glimpse of snowflakes is outrageous. It is absolutely deplorable, irresponsible, neglectful, and could put people's lives in danger. I highly recommend against going to this clinic's pharmacy. The doctors are great. Skip the pharmacy though. UPDATE - Added on 11/2/23 : Since initially writing this review I have had another gripe with the Holyoke Health Center. It is a very big issue what I am about to mention. The Holyoke Health Center, will NOT allow you to make an appointment with your primary care physician without first getting the approval of a triage nurse, which they have call you back after you request an appointment from a receptionist. I find this to be highly problematic and unprofessional, as a triage nurse should not be a gatekeeper to you seeing a professionally trained doctor. Why should a nurse who has less medical knowledge be the arbiter of who gets to see their doctor or not? It is nonsensical and backwards. Also, these nurses often relay messages incorrectly to the doctors that they work with, potentially causing the issue you may be having to seem less serious than it actually is. This was not even a requirement in order to be able to see your doctor until recent years, and I think ultimately it is a change that NEEDS to be reversed asap.
