While researching wedding photographers, my wife and I stumbled upon HC's work and we knew we had to reach out. For our small wedding, we only needed one photographer, and Joe was everything we were looking for. We didn't need a bunch of portraits of the wedding party and family, and only had a rough idea of a post-ceremony photo-op. We basically told Joe to think photo-journalism and gave him complete freedom. We're so happy with the results. There are so many candid moments that you will completely miss on your wedding day, and his stealthy patience and perspective showed us things that we would have never noticed. He has a really fantastic eye and sense of moment. Communication was great, and his attitude was unrelentingly positive. He was the only non-local vendor at our wedding, and fit right into our little community.

I am so beyond pleased with not only the end results of Joe and Katyes work, but the experience along the way. They guide you when you need it, easy going, blend in with the day and events like they arent even there, and then are right there when you need them. Their photos speak for themselves and tell a story. They not only capture the laughter and emotions of the day in their pictures but the cute side moments of the guests/family/wedding party you may have missed. We couldnt have asked for a better couple to entrust our day with. The hard part is now trying to narrow down our favorites! Highly, highly recommend.

Katye and Joe are incredible at what they do - their photos transport us right back to our wedding day, allowing us to relive specific memories and emotions. So many family members and guests have gone out of their way to tell us how much the love the pictures. So many vulnerable, once-in-a-lifetime, joyous moments - all captured and turned into a beautiful story by a supremely talented duo. They are kind and professional and reliable, easy to work with, and make you feel comfortable with having your photo taken. We could not recommend them more highly. Ten stars. Twenty stars. My fiance and I had an engagement session with Joe and could not be happier with our pictures! Joe was incredibly easy to work with, made us feel at ease, and captured our energy. My husband, family, and I are thrilled with how our wedding pictures came out! Joe and Katye were so easy to work with and made us feel very supported each step of the way. We had a pre-wedding meeting to go over all of the portraits we wanted done as well as a timeline for the day of the wedding (so once the day of the wedding came, all we had to do was run through our checklist). The actual wedding day could not have been smoother. Besides taking our portrait list, Joe and Katye were almost part of the background - my husband and I were able to fully enjoy ourselves without being asked to stop every few minutes to pose for pictures. They really captured the essence of our wedding and we have a ton of incredible candid pictures. I think in total we received about a thousand pictures - we got a sneak peek about 3 weeks after the wedding and our full wedding album about 3-4 weeks after the sneak peek. 10/10 - would HIGHLY recommend Joe and Katye if you're looking for a wedding photographer!!
