I appreciate Dr. Reiners' bedside manner for the following reasons: He took my questions seriously; Dr. Reiner was professional, jovial, and skilled at leading the eye examinations; and, when it came time to analyze my data--both the results of the eye test and the ultrasound scans of my eyes' physiologies--Dr. Reiner was clear and forthright with information and recommended helpful next steps. Although I held a negative bias, given that I'd never visited an optometry office in a department store, my preconceptions were proven wrong. I recommend you see Dr. Reiner.

This was one of the worst experiences I've had at an eye exam. Dr. Reiners seemed to be only interested in rushing through so he could move to the next appointment. He barely asked any questions about my vision or my vision history, which I assume is important as this was my first time seeing him. He was abrupt and a bit dismissive with his, very brief, communication. I actually walked out of this appointment and called my insurance to see how I would go about getting a second exam because I don't feel like what Dr. Reiners did even constituted as a comprehensive vision exam. I will never go back to Dr. Reiners and will be sure to warn others to stay away as well.
