Dr Patel of Lancaster, MA Family Dentistry referred me to Entodontist Dr Pauk for a root canal on an upper rear molar. I am grateful.
Dr Pauk is informative, instructive and honest.
He examined thoroughly in the initial visit. He explained the percentages of success, drew pictures of explanation, was frank in trying or removing the tooth and how he would proceed. Honest and forthright.
Readers should know Im a retiree, in good health and paying out of pocket. Mine is a rear molar that could be removed (less expensive) and likely not impact my other teeth.
Dr Pauk told me its ~ 50% chance of success.
I elected to try and save the tooth. The procedure was today. Dr P and staff were a wonderful team. I had discomfort (um, its a root canal) but NO pain. Dr P and staff were informative and attentive throughout. I am grateful.
Fingers crossed this works for me, long term. I appreciate the chance to make it work.
