They treated my ankle well, but the didn't treat me as a person. I had two joints with significant damage and they only ever paid attention to my ankle despite months of my telling them there was a problem with my knee. I was always just dismissed. I finally got an MRI and a new doctor and I was right - there was massive damage in my knee and it was being made permanently worse through lack of treatment. Like I said, they did a good job on my ankle, but they ignored me as a person. They also communicated poorly even around the ankle - the outcome was good but the post op instructions, questions about what was next, and questions about why they were doing what they did were all met with vague and inconsistent answers.
If you have something that just needs to be put back together in a hurry, probably ok. If you have something where you have a bit of time, try somewhere else - we live between Boston and New York, two of the greatest medical centers in history - consider other options.
